- Configure your OpenCart Source Store
Provide your current OpenCart store URL. To establish a connection, you can either provide your Admin credentials for an automatic bridge upload or manually upload the Connection Bridge files to your server via FTP.
- Set CSV File as your Target
Select "CSV File" as your target platform. This configuration prepares the system to generate downloadable files containing your migrated data instead of pushing it to another live website.
- Select Data Entities
Choose exactly which data types you wish to export. You can select Products, Customers, Orders, Categories, and more. You can also review how the fields will be mapped to ensure the output file meets your requirements.
- Launch a Demo or Full Migration
We recommend starting with a Free Demo to see how a subset of your data looks in the CSV format. Once satisfied, proceed to the Full Migration to export your entire database.
Data Entities Available for Migration
The following entities can be moved from OpenCart to your CSV file:
- Products: Name, SKU, Full Description, Status, Price, Special Price, Weight, Attributes, and Images.
- Product Categories: Name, Description, Status, and Category Images.
- Manufacturers: Name and associated data.
- Customers: First Name, Last Name, Email, and Customer Groups.

How long does the migration from OpenCart to CSV take?
The duration depends on the volume of data (number of products, customers, and orders). Most migrations are completed within a few hours, and you can monitor the progress in real-time through the Migration Wizard.
Will my OpenCart store experience any downtime?
No. Cart2Cart only reads data from your source store. Your OpenCart website will remain fully operational and available to customers throughout the entire process.
