Your Migration Journey: CSV File to WooCommerce
Migrating your store data with Cart2Cart is a straightforward process, designed for efficiency and accuracy. Here’s a detailed look at the steps involved:
Step 1: Upload Your Source Data (CSV File)
Begin by providing your source data. Since your current platform is a CSV file, you will simply upload your prepared CSV files directly to the Cart2Cart wizard. Our system is equipped to process these files, extracting all the necessary information for a smooth transfer.
Step 2: Connect Your Target Store (WooCommerce)
Next, you’ll connect your new WooCommerce store. Cart2Cart offers multiple secure connection methods to ensure seamless data import:
- Install Add-on from Marketplace: Download and install our dedicated plugin directly from your WooCommerce admin section. This is a quick and user-friendly method.
- Provide API Access Credentials: Generate a Consumer Key and Consumer Secret from your WordPress admin panel (WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced > REST API) with 'Read/Write' permissions, then paste them into the wizard.
- Provide Store Admin Access for Auto Upload Bridge: Enter your WordPress Admin URL, login, and password, and our system will automatically upload the connection bridge for you.
- Upload Connection Bridge: Manually download our connection bridge, unpack it, and upload the 'bridge2cart' folder to your WooCommerce store's root directory via FTP/SFTP.
Connect WooCommerce via the 'Install Add-on from Marketplace' option.

Step 5: Run Demo & Full Migration

This allows you to transfer a limited set of data to your WooCommerce store, enabling you to review the results and ensure everything is transferred correctly. Once satisfied, you can proceed with the full migration with confidence.
