General

What is Cart2Cart? Cart2Cart is an automated service that migrates your store data (products, customers, orders, categories, etc.) from one ecommerce platform to another. You connect source and target carts, choose what to migrate, and run the transfer from our app. No coding or server access required on your side.

How long does migration take? Setup typically takes 15–30 minutes. The actual transfer depends on data volume; many stores complete in 2–6 hours. Large catalogs may take longer. You can run a free demo first to test speed and result.

Is my platform supported? We support 85+ platforms, including Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, PrestaShop, OpenCart, BigCommerce, Wix, and others. Check Supported Carts or use the estimator on the homepage to see if your source and target are available.

Pricing and Demo

How much does it cost? Price depends on data volume and the migration path. Use the cost estimator for an instant quote. There is no charge for signing up or running a free demo with a limited number of items.

What is the free demo? A demo migration lets you transfer a small set of data (e.g. 10 products, 5 orders) to verify mapping and quality on the target store before paying for a full migration. No credit card required.

Data and Security

Will customer passwords work on the new store? Passwords are stored with different encryption per platform. After migration, customers typically need to use a one-time password reset on the new store. We preserve all other account and order data.

Can I keep my old URLs for SEO? Yes. Cart2Cart can generate 301 redirects from old product and category URLs to the new ones so search engines and bookmarks continue to work. This option is available in the migration setup for supported paths.

Process and Support

What if something goes wrong during migration? Our support team is available to help before, during, and after the migration. If an issue occurs, contact us with your migration ID and a description; we will work with you to resolve it. Running a free demo first reduces the chance of surprises during the full run.

Do you migrate product reviews, coupons, or other data? Support depends on the source and target platform. Many paths support reviews, coupons, discounts, and manufacturer or custom attributes. Check the specific migration path page for a full list of entities and options.

Can I run multiple migrations (e.g. several stores)? Yes. Each migration is set up separately in your account. For large or repeated migrations, contact our sales team to discuss package options or volume pricing.
